  • As a member of AICQ, an Organization devoted to disseminate the culture of quality in Italy, is partecipating to events organized by AICQ as Lecturing, Teaching, Writing articles and books, etc.;

  • Building Quality Systems and supporting ISO 9000 Certification for Industry;

  • Supporting BID preparation in the Pubblic Administration sector;

  • Enhancing development processes through the CMMI Maturity Model;

  • Bulding IT Governance (Organization, Processes, SLA, etc.);

  • Supporting the adoption of Project Management methodologies in software organizations;

  • Supporting the adoption of Quality processes (Quality Assurance, Quality Planning and Control, Software Testing, Software Peer Reviews);

  • Supporting the adoption of Metrics (Software metrics, Qality metrics, IT Metrics, SLA, etc.);

  • Teaching on Software Engineering to Software Organization, University, and Quality arena.

Summary Profile

Working in IBM for more than 30 years (from 1974 to 2005).

Certified Senior Consultant in Application Management Services (AMS), supported many client organizations in developing their own IT systems.

Worked for about 20 years in IBM Software Product Laboratories as Programmer, Designer, Development Manager, Test Manager, Maintenance Manager, Crisis Manager, Quality Manager. Most important products were in the Systems Management area and running on IBM Mainframe (MVS, DB2, Cobol, PL1, PLS, Assembler).

Performed the Quality Control in a very large AS/400 project for the most important client of the automobile industry. 

Certified Project Manger  by Washington University in USA, played the role of Project Manager in very large and international projects.

Built more than one Quality System, all certified ISO 9000, for many cusotmers in differente industries.

Certified Team Doctor in USA, built motivated groups engaged in very challanging projects.

Improved development and mangement processes adopting maturity models (SEI-CMM and CMMI).

Participated to the IBM Total Quality Management (TQM) programs implementing different Excellence Models (Malcolm Baldrige, Six Sigma, EFQM).
